We offer a Premium service or a standard package for you to place your advert on our front page. Your adverts are displayed on Skoda Deals for a full calendar month, giving you maximum exposure for a fixed price. Adverts for New or Used cars for sale are displayed in brown whilst adverts for lease or hire are displayed in green.
No matter if you want a Premium or a standard advert, they all run for a full calendar month. For example, if you apply for an advert in April, it will be displayed on our website from May 1st to 31st. Other sites normally charge per week, but as it can take longer to find customers in such a competitive market, we want to ensure you get full value for money. If you want to place an advert mid-month, you are welcome to do so, but you will still pay the full month cost.
Premium Advert
Our premium adverts are always displayed at the top of the page, above the standard notices and are 30% bigger than standard adverts. Premium users benefit from having a larger picture, a bigger description area and a larger font size so your prices will be seen immediately by your potential customers. You can use these if you have a Skoda for sale or want to hire /lease it as the fields that we use are the same for purchase or hire ads.
What do you get for your premium advert:-
- Picture - The picture is 150 x 150 pixels in size
- Title - The title field can either be one or two lines long (Max. 22 characters including spaces)>
- Description - The description field can either be 3 or 5 lines, depending on whether you have a single or double line title (Max. 32 characters per line inc. spaces)
- Information - The information area contains your location and telephone contact information. If you are using the leasing option, then the advert will show the mileage allowance instead of your location. (Max. 32 characters per line inc. spaces)
- Day Hire Rate, Contract Hire or Buy Price - Contains the purchase price or hire rate of your car (Max. 32 characters per line inc. spaces)
- Website - We can link to any page on your website, but the website field will display your main website address (Max. 40 characters per line inc. spaces)
The advantages of using premium:-
Our premium adverts are over 20% bigger than standard, giving you the largest space possible on SkodaDeals.com. This extra space gives you the ability to add more detail about your car and also include a bigger picture which will get a lot more attention. You also have the choice of having a larger title or more description, whereas a standard notice has a fixed specification. The premium adverts are also more colourful meaning that the users attention are focused on them first. Finally and most importantly, premium ads are always displayed at the of the main page giving you the best chance of being noticed.
Premium Advert Closed Bid System:-
Due to the fact that there is only one place at the very top of the page, our premium ads are sold on a "closed Bid" system. If you want to place an premium advert for the following month, you must send us your sealed bid sometime the previous month. Your bid amount can be any price (in GBP) as long as it is above our minimum amount of £30. On the last day of the preceeding month, all bids are then verified with the highest bid being given the top advert space and then the rest of the premium adverts are placed in order from highest to lowest bid price. If two bids are received at the same price, then a random draw is done to decide on the order. If you want a premium advert but are not concerned as to the page ranking order, then the minimum cost is £30 per calendar month.
Standard Advert
Our standard adverts are still as useful in attracting new customers but are priced for limited budgets. They are displayed on the front page but are listed under all the premium adverts. You can use these if you have a Skoda for sale or want to hire /lease it as the fields that we use are the same for purchase or hire ads.

As all our standard adverts are fixed at £10 per month and are placed in a random order on the website. This is to ensure that all Standard ad users are given a fair chance to appear near the top. Remember that standard adverts are shown below Premium adverts, but that is reflected in the price that you pay. The standard adverts are shown on the main page of our site for a full calendar month. Our standard adverts offer you the cheapest way for you to list your car on the Internet.
